Atomic Heart - Annihilation Instincts

Mundfish’s first paid DLC for Atomic Heart, Annihilation Instinct, is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out the release trailer below, highlighting the newest area players can explore, the Mendeleev Complex.

The story concerns NORA, an AI that’s gone insane, and you’ll need to work with Professor Lebedev to deal with it. The Mendeleev Complex offers intriguing new environments with swamps and winding structures, filled with new enemies like BEA-D and a new boss. New weapons include the Secateur, a gun with two firing modes, and Klusha, a double-bladed staff, while you can also slow down time with the new Techno-Stasis.

Annihilation Instinct can be purchased separately or with the Atomic Pass. The base game is discounted by 34 percent (check out our review here), while the Premium and Gold Editions are 40 percent off on Steam until August 7th, so it’s a good time to check it out.
