Chirpers in Atomic Heart are collectible audio logs that reveal various facts about the game world, including stories about it and other specific details. Collecting all of them unlocks the Burning Ears achievement and trophy
These Chirpers can be easy to miss, they look like golden pocket watches and can be found in tricky locations. To help you collect them all, this guide provides the locations of every Chirper in the game. Let’s get started!
All Chirper Locations in Atomic Heart
Chirper #1: She Almost Got Away
Location: The Beginning of the End – You can find this after the encounter with Granny Zina. Go down through the elevator, face right and enter the tunnel. Jumping from the cabinet to find it.
Chirper #2: A Tough Old Bird
Location: Vavilov, First Steps – Once you use the valve to open the door, a robot will kill a man by dragging him. To find the Chirper, enter the first door on your left and you will see it resting on top of a desk.
Chirper #3: How About a Nice Cup of Tea?
Location: Vavilof, Break Room – After finding the second Chirper, you can locate the next one by going to the room directly opposite to the one where you found the previous Chirper. The third Chirper is sitting on a table in that room.
Chirper #4: There Are No Atheists on the Battlefield
Location: Vavilov, Magnetic Door – Upon exiting the previous room, make your way towards the middle of the spacious hallway where you will discover the Chirper perched on top of the triple folding seats.
Chirper #5: Love and Robots
Location: Vavilov, Where It All – Once you have obtained the previous Chirper, make your way to the last cabin and look for the current one in the restroom on the left-hand side, directly across from the Magnetic Door
Chirper #6: Snooty Vovas
Location: Vavilof, Offices – After encountering Nora, you can locate the Chirper sitting atop a wooden box opposite the door you exited from.
Chirper #7: Monday Starts on Sunday
Location: Vavilov, Archival Room – After encountering Nora, go to the archive room. Go upstairs and retrieve the Key Disk before leaving the room. The Chirper can be found in the room on your left, accessed through the broken wall.
Chirper #8: Prison Psychologist’s Notes – Petrov
Location: Vavilov, Distribution Center – Once Petrov flees, eliminate the robots in your path and make your way towards the stairs in the opposite direction. Ascend the stairs and follow them to the end, where you’ll come across a hole leading to a locked room. Inside, look for a candle resting on top of a red desk. The Chirper will be on the bed next to it.
Chirper #9: From the Employee Handbook
Location: Vavilov, PK-4 Birchtree – You can find the Chirper next to the PK-4 Birchtree located in the Vavilov DIstribution Center.
Chirper #10: Venus Mantrap
Location: Vavilov, East Wing H – Once you have inserted two candles to unlock the red door, take a left and you’ll come across a save room. From there, enter the room directly opposite it. Inside, you’ll find two enemies with plant-like heads. Look for the Chirper on the table in that same room.
Chirper #11: It’s-a Me, Vova!
Location: Vavilov, Algo Lab – There are several boxes in the Algae Workshop. You can find the Chirper on top of the pile of boxes.
Chirper #12: A Solution to the Problem of Smoking
Location: Vavilov, West Wing H – To activate the “In An Overgrown Park” Quest, insert two Candles next to the cylinder tube and open the red door. Once you enter, you’ll immediately spot the Chirper on top of some boxes.
Chirper #13: Temporary Difficulties, #2 of 2
Location: Vavilov, Boiler Room – The Boiler Room is where you can locate the Chirper. Once inside, you can spot the Chirper resting on the table near the pipe where the Ice Balls were inserted.
Chirper #14: Temporary Difficulties, #1 of 2
Location: Vavilov, Hot Lab – After finishing what you need to do in the Boiler Room, make your way to the fourth floor. Take a right from the stairs and walk down the corridor until you reach the end. You’ll see a stepladder there, and the Chirper can be found sitting on top of the box to the left of it.
Chirper #15: Medicina Non Cacus Taurus Est
Location: Vavilov, Cold Lab #1 – You can spot the Chirper after passing through the yellow siding doors where you’ll see three mutants devouring a animal behind the glass. Follow the vent that leads into the room, and you’ll find the Chirper resting on the table near the tank where the animal is held.
Chirper #16: Security Recording #2 of 4: “What Are You Eating This Time?”
Location: Vavilov, Pesticide Lab – Head to the second rail control panel and you’ll find the Chirper next to a corpse on the ground.
Chirper #17: Feast of Death
Location: Forester Village, A – To the left of the Vavilov Complex, there is a yellow building that houses a garage. Upon entering the garage, you will spot the Chirper lying beside a dead soldier and an MP pistol.
Chirper #18: The True Beauty of Science
Location: Forester Village, C – To locate the Chirper, go to the red log cabin building near the grocery store in the Forester Village. The cabin is marked with a “3” sign. You can find the Chirper inside the cabin.
Chirper #19: Long-Distance Communication
Location: Forester Village, G – You can find the Chirper on top of the spiral tower in the Forester Village where the Volan is kept. It will be lying on a mattress.
Chirper #20: A Totally Awesome Robot Vacuum
Location: VDNH, Entrance – After successfully connecting the Tereshkova to the administrator control in the Museum’s Atrium Breakroom, you can find the Chirper resting on a sofa.
Chirper #21: Out with the Old
Location: VDNH, Lower Level – While searching for the body parts of Tereshkova Calire, you’ll come across the Chirper resting on a sofa at the bottom of a flight of stairs.
The Chirper can be found on the Pavlov Floor in the same area where you’re searching for Clare’s arm. Look for a table on the other side of the locked door.
Chirper #22: A Brilliant Idea for an Exhibit! (Not Really)
Location: The VDNH, Pavlov Fl – Located in the area where you’re searching for Clare’s arm. You can find it on the Pavlov Floor, on a table on the other side of the locked door.
Chirper #23: Comrade Stockhausen’s Yellow Journalism
Location: Open World #5 – After you’ve exited to the surface by firing up the VDNH’s neural relay, turn left and look for a log cabin. The Chirper is located inside of it.
Chirper #24: A Stream of Pure Energy
Location: Theater, Back Passage – You can find the Chirper lying on a table at the entrance to the theater.
Chirper #25: An Echo of the Past
Location: Theater, #2 – After exiting the dressing room with a burning hole, turn right and head towards the Breakroom. Once you reach the Breakroom, turn left and you’ll see the Chirper lying on top of an overturned vending machine.
Chirper #26: Comrade Stockhausen’s Schemes, or “I’ll Scratch Your Back…”
Location: Theater, Supply Room – To find the Chirper, head to the Theater Supply Room and look for a console with a yellow hardhat on it. The Chirper will be sitting on it, located to the right of the laser puzzle.
Chirper #27: Did He Even Know What Madness is?
Location: Theater, #1 –
- Defeat the Piyusch and repair the elevator.
- Use the elevator to reach the fourth floor.
- Follow the balcony and jump over the debris until you reach a dressing room with a robot ballerina.
- Look for a vent on the upper section of the wall.
- Crawl through the vent to reach a back room where you can find the Chirper.
Chirper #28: A Simple Electrician’s Unrequited Love
Location: Theater, #7 –
- Start the Not a Password at All quest
- Go upstairs to the second floor
- Look towards the left of the stage
- Find the table next to a red, flower-shaped lamp
- The Chirper will be sitting on top of the table
Chirper #29: Mutiny, or “The World vs. Stefan Lastochkin”
Location: Theater, Coat Check –
- Head to the Theater Coat Check Room.
- Look atop the counter.
- The Chirper is located there.
- It is opposite the locked door leading to the Electrician’s body.
Chirper #30: The Theater Needs a Change
Location: Theater, #5 – You can find it in the Control room. It’s on top of a console that’s behind the computer responsible for turning on the ballerina.
Chirper #31: Becoming Lastochkin, or “The Making of a Psychopath”
Location: Theater, #4 – After the Ballerina’s performance comes to an end, you can locate it on a pedestal within the theater.
Chirper #32: What the Hell?!
Location: Theater, Restroom –
- Enter the Theater Restroom after opening the door with the Ballerina’s ball.
- Go towards the left and keep going until you come across the Tereshkova robot trapped under rubble.
- Look for her arm extended from underneath.
- The Chirper will be lodged in her hand.
Chirper #33: Prison Psychologist’s Notes – Petrov, #1 of ??
Location: Theater, Large Stage – You can find the Chirper on one of the red chairs in the front row of the Theater, after successfully defeating Natasha.
Chirper #34: The Fraught Path of Science
Location: Infirmary – Wards – On the first floor of the Infirmary, atop a medical bed at the center of the large room.
Chirper #35: We’re Not Butchers
Location: Infirmary – Adminstr – The Chirper is located on the first floor of the Infirmary, lying on top of a check-in desk.
Chirper #36: The Innocent Always Suffer More Than the Guilty
Location: Infirmary – Entrance – The Chirper is located on the second floor of the Infirmary, lying on top of a bed.
Chirper #37: Bykov’s Diary – Youthful Vigor
Location: Pavlov – Wards – Located on a desk of the same floor as the entrance to the Pavlov Complex.
Chirper #38: The Tragedy of the Neyelovs
Location: Pavlov – Hallways – Within Ward No.1 that’s one floor below the entrance to the Pavlov Complex.
Chirper #39: If it isn’t Kollectiv, What is it?
Location: Pavlov – Restroom – The Chirper is located in the Pavlov Complex’s basement restroom.
Chirper #40: Science on the Edge of Morality
Location: Pavlov – Operating Room – You can find it in the Pavlov Operating Room, on a bed right beside the elevator.
Chirper #41: Kykov’s Diary – The Dog with the Positive Password
Location: Pavlov – Morgue –
- From the Pavlov Operating Room, take the elevator to the bottom floor.
- Look for the Pavlov Morgue in that floor.
- The Chirper can be found inside the Morgue.
Chirper #42: Culinary Delights
Location: Pavlov – Cafeteria – After exiting the Morgue, you can find Chirper on a side table in the Pavlov Cafeteria.
Chirper #43: Five More Carcasses
Location: Pavlov – Foyer – After leaving the Cafeteria, you can find it on the upper right deck of the Pavlov Foyer.
Chirper #44: The Snake’s Waltz
Location: Pavlov – Exhibits – When you leave the Pavlov Foyer, go to the room with Polymer exhibits. The Chirper is located in Bay #3, next to a dead soldier.
Chirper #45: The Lighthouse Keeper’s Diary
Location: Sakhalin, at the Lig – Located in the Lighthouse Keeper’s home on top of a desk.
