Koei Tecmo have announced a follow up to the first Attack on Titan game that they launched for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Attack on Titan 2 today got a teaser trailer, as well as some screenshots. We also got the confirmation that the game will be launching in the west in 2018.

We also learned that Omega Force, of Dynasty Warriors fame, will be making the game. A look at the screenshots and teaser apparently reveals that the game will follow the events in the second season of the anime (so I am told- I have never actually seen it myself, so the best I have to go on is what people better versed in the series’ lore than I tell me).

You know what information we did not get? We don’t know what platforms the game will be on. Presumably, Xbox One, PS4, and PC are the ones the game will be hitting, though the Nintendo Switch remains a viable possibility too, especially since Tecmo appears to be one of the bigger supporters of the system. I guess we’ll see. Until then, enjoy the trailer and the screens.
