But a 60fps framerate on both, so all is good.

Attack on Titan, the upcoming video game based on the popular and hit anime series, is something that a lot of fans have wanted for a very long time- a true blue action game based on a series that lends itself to incredible setpieces and dramatic encounters.

For an action game, it is absolutely necessary to maintain a steady framerate- and the faster, the better. So it should come as good news to fans of the anime waiting for the game to release that the game will maintain a steady 60fps framerate on both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. The catch? The catch is that the Xbox One version of the game will be taking a hit on its resolution.

In an interview with GamingBolt, Hisashi Koinuma, producer on the game, confirmed as much. “The PS4 version runs at 1080p and VFR 60fps. The XboxOne version runs at 900p and VFR 60fps,” he said.

Personally, as always, I would gladly take the hit on the resolution to have a steady framerate. This is a win in my books. Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom will release later this month on PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, and PC.
