Dark Souls Remastered

Dark Souls Remastered is another month out, but more and more is coming out about the upcoming remaster of the legendary classic that otiose games journalists now use to call Crash Bandicoot hard. Dualshockers went hands on with the PS4 Pro version, and recorded a ton of fantastic footage of the first dungeon and first boss.

The PS4 Pro version runs at an upscaled 4K at 60FPS, and has never looked better. In addition to visual improvements, they also show off quality of life improvements such as the ability to remap the controls, which the original release never allowed. While the game is still prerelease, and is more of a remaster than a complete rebuild such as Shadow of the Colossus, it’s already shaping up very well.

Dark Souls Remastered with launch on all modern platforms on May 25, and you can preorder now. Are you excited to die all over and over and over again? Let us know in the comments below.
