22. Batman

We kind of knew that this was coming: Batman Arkham Knight has broken the record of the Witcher 3 in sales, and has become one of the fastest selling video games of 2015 according to GfK Chart-Track. And if that were not enough it is also one of the fastest selling game in the franchise beating the sales of Arkham Origins Arkham Asylum, and Arkham City, which is quite a feat.

It also seems like this year is one of Warner Brothers’ best years in video games as Arkham Knight is their fourth game to get to the number 1 spot. The other games this year were Dying Light, Mortal Kombat X and LEGO Jurassic World.

Interestingly enough 67 percent of the game was sold on Playstation 4, while the Xbox One factored in at 33 percent. Final sales figures for the game are yet to be announced. Batman Arkham Knight is now out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while the PC version of the game has been suspended pending further fixes and patches.
