As for the latter, Rocksteady has confirmed that the Arkham Knight is working for the Scarecrow in the game; who exactly the Arkham Knight is, we don’t know yet, and Rocksteady remains insistent that the character is an original one that they designed from the ground up for this game.

Rocksteady has also confirmed that they will be building on their combat system for this game- Freeflow remains the centerpiece of the combat, but new mechanics have been added in as well, the chief of which is the fact that the Batmobile can be used to assist you during fights (!)
