Batman: Arkham Origins Trailer Reveals Copperhead

Another assassin joins the hunt for The Bat.

Warner Bros. Montreal has released a new trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins, introducing yet another assassin into the dreaded hunt for Batman. Copperhead is rather interesting here because, well, in the DC Comics universe, she’s a he. Not that that’s impossible here but yeah.

Arkham Origins takes place before Arkham Asylum, and is developed by Warner Bros. Montreal rather than Rocksteady Studios. The game will see a younger and relatively inexperienced Batman fighting his way through Old Gotham and mixing it up with mob boss Black Mask. The latter has a bounty out on the Batman, which has attracted the likes of Deadshot, Deathstroke and other assassins to claim the reward on Christmas Eve.

If that weren’t enough, the game will reportedly see Batman’s first infamous meeting with The Joker take place. Batman: Arkham Origins is currently slated to release for Xbox 360, PC, PS3 and Wii U on October 25th.
