Battlefield 1 First Week Sales In UK Are More Than Battlefield Hardline And Battlefield 4 Week 1 Sales Combined

EA and DICE's newest is a veritable hit.

Battlefield 1

It looks like DICE and EA’s newest shooter is a colossal hit- GFK Chart-Track’s sales charts for the previous week are in, and it looks like Battlefield 1 had an enormous debut, with its first week sales more than the first week sales for Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline put together.

That’s a stunning debut- but just so you have some perspective, it’s still not the most successful debut for a shooter this year. That honor remains with Ubisoft’s The Division, which may have fallen off after launch, but managed to hold on to its absurdly impressive launch records nonetheless.

Battlefield 1 is followed by another EA game, FIFA 17, which slips to number 2 for the first time since its debut. Mafia 3, Gears of War 4, and Batman: Return to Arkham, WWE 2K17, Rise of the Tomb Raider‘s PS4 version, Forza Horizon 3, GTA 5, and the Xbox version of Minecraft all round out the top ten.

Battlefield 1 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
