Battlefield 1 (3)

The rivalry between Battlefield and Call of Duty is a well established one in gaming a this point, played up by none other than EA, the publishers of Battlefield, themselves. Thus far, Call of Duty games have consistently managed to outsell Battlefield, but with Battlefield 1 winning rave acclaim from players and critics this year, and Call of Duty being widely criticized, it looks like this might be the year that Battlefield pulls ahead.

EA are leveraging that fully- they recently posted a tweet that had a short video clip, where a team wins a game against another team in Battlefield. The other team is largely uncoordinated, and the tweet ends up implying that these players must be from ‘a different FPS.’ No game is explicitly named, but those in the know, should know.

Battlefield 1 is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches on November 4 on the same systems.
