EA has previously said that Battlefield 2042 will be getting a beta before its launch, but exact details on when exactly that’ll come remain murky even now. It seems, however, that it could be coming very soon.
As spotted by VGC, Italian retailer Media World’s listing of Battlefield 2042 (screencapped below) mentions exact dates for Battlefield 2042’s beta. It reads: “Pre-order this product by September 3 and you will receive access to the early beta of the game from September 6 to September 11.”
More recently, files for Battlefield 2042’s beta also emerged on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, so it’s been looking likely of late that the shooter might be getting its beta rather soon. If it is indeed supposed to kick off on September 6 though, then we’ll probably be getting an official confirmation in the very near future.
Battlefield 2042 launches on October 22 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
