Battlefield 2042

Several games have been delayed past their intended release dates in recent weeks (and even the last year, if not more), and it looks like there might still be a few high profile delays coming our way. Battlefield 2042currently slated for an October launch, might be pushed past its release date.

Journalist Jeff Grubb recently took to Twitter and suggested that a game was going to be delayed soon, with an announcement coming this week. While he didn’t mention the game’s name, several other insiders have chimed in, with @Dealer_Gaming, Xbox Era’s Nick Baker, and Tom Henderson also mentioning that Battlefield 2042 is the game in question. The former two state that the game is going to be delayed to some time in 2022, though according to be a Henderson, it’s going to be a smaller delay, with EA currently eyeing the late November launch window.

Of course, EA and DICE themselves haven’t said anything about this year, so here’s hoping we get official word on the game’s release date soon.

Battlefield 2042 is currently slated to release on October 22 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
