Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 Announced, Features 12 Playable Factions

The RTS adaptation of the tabletop title is getting that sequel you all wanted.

Tindalos Interactive has announced that Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is in development and will be coming to PC later this year. As a sequel to the ambitious but flawed real-time strategy game based on the tabletop experience, the developer promises a number of improvements. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The story this time around is set during the 13th Black Crusade and the Gathering Storm. Along with larger scale battles, you can expect multiple campaigns to play and more balance in the multiplayer. Ships and fleets will also have improved customization with other quality of life changes for the game planned.

Perhaps the biggest new feature is that all 12 factions from the tabletop title and its expansion will be available to play. This means that Space Marines, Necrons, Orks, Tyranids, Aeldari Corsairs, Chaos, Imperial Navy, Adeptus Mechanicus and so on will be at your beck and call. The Rogue Traders won’t be included though.
