Battlezone: Gold Edition Will Release For PC, PS4, And Xbox One On May 1, And For Nintendo Switch This Summer

Battlezone is a game about fighting in futuristic tanks against an evil corporation. The game had first released as a VR only title across different platforms such as PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Now, Rebellion Developments has announced Battlezone: Gold Edition which will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 1, and will release for the Nintendo Switch later in the summer.

If you already owned the game on VR for PC or PS4, then this new edition will become available as a free update and it will include all of the additional content that had been released over time. It will certainly be interesting to see if the game is as fun to play on consoles or PC without VR enabled. The game features a procedurally generated campaign for upto 4 players so each playthrough is bound to be unique. The Gold Edition will be available for $39.99
