The creative director behind Halo Reach has said that they were prepared to take ‘big risks’ with the multiplayer.

Marcus Lehto, speaking in an interview with Jostiq, said that Bungie will be taking the franchise in new directions. Lehto said, “While we’ll still have all of the good stuff that players have come to know and love about Halo, we’ve made that better and given them new features on top of that.”

Multiplayer off the beaten track?

No detail was given as to what exactly these big risks entail, but we can be sure Bungie is cooking up something good for the highly anticipated 360 exclusive.

the Halo Reach multiplayer beta starts in May.
