When Microsoft revealed all the strict DRM policies during the pre-launch Xbox One events, the outlash from gamers around the world were not something I believe Microsoft was actually expecting. So when interviewer Angry Joe spoke with Larry Hryb, better known as Major Nelson, and asked him about whether Microsoft will be changing their policies, we got a pretty hilarious answer. Major Nelson stated that the DRM wasn’t just a switch Microsoft could flip and change for the Xbox One as the console was developed around the DRM policies. A couple months later Microsoft completely took back all the DRM policies.
