Mass Effect 3’s Ending
When the first Mass Effect came out in 2007, gamers were in for an epic trilogy. Gameplay tossed difficult choices for players to make which would shape how the game would ultimately end. We won’t spoil anything here if you have yet to play the trilogy but know that the Mass Effect 3 ending was so controversial that made sure to upset a lot of gamers all over the world.
An online campaign even picked up and raised $80,000 for the Child’s Play charity in hopes that Bioware would develop a better ending to the trilogy. The development team decided to release an extended cut of Mass Effect 3 that didn’t change the ending but added an epilogue that expanded the conclusion to the Mass Effect series.
