Runway hit Black Myth: Wukong has all the elements of a souls-like, including a complex resource system. This guide is intended to help players farm XP, Will, and Sparks as efficiently as possible.

Bamboo Grove Snake Trail

An early farm is available at this location in Chapter 1 and requires the Incense Trail Talisman. Simply bind it to a quick slot and you will then be able to fast travel to the start of the farming route to your heart’s content, at the end of every farming run. Head up the stairway and focus your efforts on a succession of four reptile-headed enemies for the maximum payout of Will, while ignoring the lesser enemies. This ultra-fast run is worth roughly 700 in Will, as well as XP and other resources like Mind Core Materials.

As a bonus, consider kiting and corralling the skeleton-like enemies in the open grove towards the end. This will bunch them all up together for some quick killing, and might be worth the ~30 Will for each kill.

Three runs should net you the 2000 Will required to level up and gain a single Spark.

Fright Cliff Rockrest Flat

Head right from Fright Cliff Rockrest Flat and kill the shield-bearing enemy first as well as the next one in the distance. Loop around to the back towards the Fright Cliff Rockrest Flat and quickly combo strike the rock enemy before it can fully stand upright.

Destroy the pots behind the rock enemy for any random Will, then ascend the stairway. Kill the lone enemy on the right ledge, then hop down on to the stairs to come up behind the shield enemy that has now climbed the stairway.

Head towards the Fright Cliff Rockrest Flat again, but bear left, to encounter yet another shield enemy. Enter the cave and deal with the three remaining enemies left on this run, before returning to the Fright Cliff Rockrest Flat to rest up and heal for the next round.

Two runs should net you a level up and corresponding Spark.

Tiny Piece of Gold

The Tiny Piece of Gold is an Uncommon item that can be sold at the Keeper in exchange for 99 Will, and are often found in chests dotted around the world. Since they have no other utility in the game, dispose of them early and often.

Prop Destruction

There are Pots scattered throughout the game world, and when broken can net small quantities of Will. These Pots respawn after a while, and can serve as a perennial source for Will in a pinch.

Those are the best ways to farm XP and Will to quickly level up and gain Sparks in Black Myth: Wukong.
