Diablo 3 has been one of the more interesting game releases in the history of gaming. After more than 12 years of waiting, the much-anticipated game dropped to much acclaim, and just as much hate from those acclaiming it. It wasn’t Diablo 2, and that made a lot of people unhappy. But as a stand alone game, Diablo 3 is a titan of dungeon crawling excellence, with crisp graphics and smooth game play.
The only reasonable complaint from the fan base has been the somewhat incoherent story. With this new expansion, perhaps Blizzard will tie up some of the loose ends that left fans unhappy in the original release.
There has been much speculation as to the plot line of the inevitable Diablo 3 expansions, with most theories pointing towards capturing and killing the evil witch and bearer of Diablo’s seed, Adria, the only “bad guy” who happens to escape with her life intact.
