Bloodborne Bug Makes The Game Very Easy

In case you can't git gud.

Like all other From Software games made in the ‘Souls’ tradition, Bloodborne can give you a hard time. it can, in fact, be freakishly difficult. The difficulty is, of course, a part of the experience- it is all designed with the explicit aim of encouraging community co-operation, and of actually having your achievements in game mean something.

Which is why this newly discovered bug in the game is sort of sad. Essentially, someone has discovered that if you leave your game running for 12 hours straight – Suspend/Resume time counts for this – then the game becomes far easier than it would be otherwise, severely limiting boss movesets, for instance, and overcoming them becomes a matter of ease.

Of course, to go to the effort of leaving the game running for that long just to make it easier sounds… excessive to me. If you have to resort to tricks like that, I suggest just playing a different game.

You can check out the video above to see just how the game degrades in terms of difficulty if left running long enough. As of right now, From Software has not officially responded.
