Borderlands 2- Next DLC Releasing Before The End of The Year

The wait is not long.

Just like the original, Borderlands 2 has turned out to be a massive critical and commercial success for Gearbox Software. Today, we have some interesting news for Borderlands 2 fans. The next downloadable content for Borderlands 2 will be releasing before the end of the year.

Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software confirmed it via twitter (thanks, Examiner) when a fan asked the release date for the next DLC.

Pitchford also said that new characters are not expected in the next DLC, stating that it is way off.

We loved Borderlands 2 to no end and we rewarded the PC version a superb 9/10. “Gearbox have made a tremendous game which builds upon its predecessor in almost every area, and offers gamers a huge amount of content and replayability. There are some minor niggles and frustrating design decisions but it’s a loot game at heart, and if you love things like that, you just can’t go wrong with it,” our editor said in his review.

No actual release date for the next DLC has been revealed so far, but given that there are less than two months remaining for the year to wrap up, the wait is not going to be too long.

Stay tuned for more news and updates.
