If you’ve yet to hear of it, EverQuest Next Landmark is is the companion game to the highly anticipated upcoming MMO, EverQuest Next. EverQuest Next Landmark will be a sandbox-survival/building game in the same vein as Minecraft.

In the video above EverQuest Next Landmark producer Dave Georgeson gives us a look at some footage we can expect to see from actual gameplay. With this video we are able to glean some insight into the speed with which players will be able to get off the ground in terms of building houses, towers, archways, and a number of other potential structures.

Not only is the star-off speed on display, but we also get a feel for world, the game mechanics, and how the player will be able to explore and interact with the EverQuest Next Landmark world.

As of now Sony is selling invitations to the game’s alpha test phase, which will go live in February of 2014.
