Activision has released a brand new game on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4- but before you go scrambling to your calendar to see how the publisher that only deals in mega hits such as Call of Duty, Skylanders, Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero, World of Warcraft, and Diablo, might have managed to release a game that somehow slipped by under your radar, take a deep breath and calm down- it’s a new mid budget experimental title that they have released, called Cabela’s African Adventures. You might remember this from the countless other platforms they have released it on over the last decade or so.

The game is a third person hunting action game, that takes players to the untamed landscapes of the African wilderness. From savannah to jungle to desert, there are four diverse, open-world biomes to explore on foot or by vehicle, each teeming with quests to conquer, collectibles to discover and dangerous wildlife to outwit. Basically, it sounds a bit like a more passive take on Far Cry, focused more on killing people rather than animals.

It is out now on Xbox One and PS4 for $40, so you might want to give the game a shot.
