Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Once the most inventive game mode in first person shooters since the introduction of rebounding health, Call of Duty Zombies are now becoming a parody of what they set out to be in the first place. But not all parody is bad.

Activision and Sledgehammer Games released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Zombie mode that isn’t going to just feature zombies, but exoskeleton augmented zombies. Not content to make a game mode with robotically assisted versions of the un-dead, COD:AW Zombies is going to feature some rather odd character choices.

Four american actors will be taking on the roles of soldiers in a fictional army, but 2 of the actors in particular stick out to me. Joe Bernthal, of The Walking Dead fame where he played Shane Walsh and Rose McGowan who starred in the cult hit TV series Charmed.

John Malkovich is also, for some reason, stepping up to the plate for a role in the game, as is Bill Paxton. Both of whom are respected actors. COD:AW is certainly going to leave behind a star studded legacy.
