Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Vengeance DLC Announced

Treyarch has announced another new upcoming multiplayer downloadable content map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 titled as ‘Vengeance’.

In Call of Duty: Black Ops II Vengeance players will get introduced to four new competitive multiplayer maps and a completely new chapter/map for the zombies mode called ‘Buried’.

The four new maps are Cove, Detour, Rush and Uplink. Cove is a map that takes place on a beautiful island that is surrounded by foliage, ocean and rocks. The best players will be able to navigate this map and flank the enemy as they learn the ins/outs of the somewhat confusing map layout. Meanwhile, Detour will put players on multiple vertical levels of combat. Fight on top of the bridge for more of a mid-range combat and underneath the bridge for close-quarter shotgun fun.

Uplink is a remake of the map called ‘Summit’ from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. Last, but not least is the Rush map which is geared towards players who enjoy run’n’gun and close-quarter encounters.

For more in-depth information of the Vengeance DLC and the new Buried zombie map check out the official trailer below. Call of Duty: Black Ops II Vengeance will be hitting Xbox Live on July 2nd with other consoles to follow up at a later date.
