Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Eclipse DLC Guide- Zetsubou No Shima, Weapons, Secrets And More

The newest DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Eclipse is now out. As with all DLC for the Call of Duty games, this one isn’t a story expansion or addition as much as it is a bunch of new maps for the game’s multiplayer modes, as well as some additions for the Zombies mode.

But it can still be a lot, still enough to get a handle on that you can be overwhelmed. That’s what we are here for with this guide- from the glitches and secrets you can find in this game to completing the Zetsubou No Shima addition to the Zombies mode, this guide has it all. Furthermore we have also included guides for some of the achievements and trophies, Skull of Nan Sapwe Specialist and KT-4 Wonder weapons, perks and their locations, Gobblegums, boss battle tips and tricks.

ZETSUBOU NO SHIMA

The Zombies story in Black Ops3 continues on the rather enigmatically named island of Zetsubou No Shima. There are all new challenges and terrors that await you here, including new weapons, new items, and a terrifying new boss…

Let’s get to it.

Weapons

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Eclipse adds two new weapons that you can use in the Zombies mode to take on the undead- this section of the guide teaches you how to get them both.

Skull of Nan Sapwe Specialist Weapon

The Skull of Nan Sapwe Specialist Weapon is obtained on the Zetsubou No Shima Zombies Mode Map. And while it is early days yet, it appears to be the best weapon to use in the Zombies mode yet. Here is how you get it:

KT-4 Wonder Weapon

The KT-4 Wonder Weapon is also received on the Zetsubou No Shima Zombies Mode Map. It’s a remarkable weapon that shoots acid- good for taking on some of the Undead in a pinch, but also equally effective at creating some traps…

And if you want to upgrade it:

Perks and Locations

Eclipse features some perks and plant seeds on the Zetsubou No Shima Zombies Mode Map- knowing where to find them and how to use them, as well as simply knowing your way around the map, can be a lifesaver. The video below walks you through the lay of the land, as well as the basics of the new items and perks that the new map adds.

Gobblegums

Eclipse adds four new Gobblegums to Zombies mode:

  • Secret Shopper activates immediately. It lasts 10 minutes, and it universalizes ammunition- any gun wall-buy can be used to buy ammo for any gun.
  • Fear in Headlights needs to be activated manually. It lasts for 2 minutes, and while it is active, any zombies seen by the players will freeze, making them easier targets.
  • Unbearable auto-activates when a teddy bear appears in the magic box. The magic box re-spins automatically, and will no longer move for several uses.
  • Temporal Gift activates immediately, and lasts one round. All power ups now last longer.

Power

Power can be turned on on this map either automatically or manually- the video guide below walks you through how.

Unlocking the power on this map lets you bring all three Pack-A-Punch Machine Tool Parts to the Bunker’s center power area and assemble the machine- the guide below shows you where to find the parts:

Secrets:

If you complete all the previous tutorials so far, then you can initiate the secret quest. You also need to ensure the following:

  • The Anywhere But Here! Gobblegum needs to be active in your pack (or a teammate’s pack, if you have any)
  • All doors on the map should be open
  • The power on the map needs to be on
  • Finally, to get started, there are temple poles around the circular skulls tablet that have text on them with challenges. Each player needs to complete these three challenges to get the puzzle started.

Once all of this is done, you can start the quest to get this extremely difficult to get secret.

Zetsubou No Shima Gigantic Spider Boss Guide

Black Ops 3 Eclipse adds a brand new, exciting boss to the Zombies mode- the Gigantic Spider. To find the boss, you need to head to the Lab-A generator, and towards the pool. Once there, use the KT-4 Wonder Weapon (which the previous section of the guide should have taught you how to get), and clear the webbing at the entrance.

Move inside the opening- the boss should spawn within a few moments.
