Call Of Duty Elite Beta Passes 2 Million Registrations

Posted By | On 14th, Jun. 2011

No surprise here; the upcoming Call Of Duty online community service ‘Elite’ Beta has proved to be pretty popular. Over two million people have signed up for the service’s beta in two weeks. It blew my mind,” said Activision social media boss Dan Amrich via his blog. “That should give the dev team at Beachhead plenty to work with to kick off the beta, which officially starts July 14.” He said latecomers should not be discouraged: “Don’t be discouraged by the big number, thinking you shouldn’t bother because they already have enough people – two million volunteers among 30 million Call of Duty players is a small amount. More would be even better. Once you’ve signed up, just watch your email inbox for an invite.”

Thanks to CVG for the info.
