Call Of Duty Elite Still ‘Intermittent’, Offer Consolation Package

Posted By | On 10th, Nov. 2011

Whilst Modern Warfare 3’s online content seems to be chugging along nicely, Call Of Duty Elite is kind of letting the team down – read: Hasn’t been working since day of release. (clears through) Anyway… Activision and Beachhead Studios seem to have realised that this could be a little frustrating, especially for those of you have been there since day one, and for that reason they have released this message:

“For our premium members who are Founders, know that granting your status and delivering your in-game benefits in MW3 is a priority. Also, to ensure that every premium member receives their full money’s worth, we are immediately and automatically extending your membership to Call of Duty Elite by 30 days at no additional cost.”

On top of that, just in case you were only just considering jumping on the Elite train and want something out of the delay: “If you’re still considering becoming a premium member, we’re going to extend Founder eligibility until the end of the month, and you will also receive the additional 30 days of access.”

And there you have it: A reasonable consolation for the premium users and naught for the free users. But hey, what do you expect?
