Apparently, story and narrative will be a big focus for the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare– and with the interesting new setting for the game that finally takes the series into full science fiction territory, it’ll be intriguing to see where the story goes in the campaign.

In a brand new video that developers Infinity Ward released at a panel at San Diego Comic Con (via DualShockers), we get to see some more of that story- if you plan to go into the game blind, be mindful that this video has spoilers from the game. If you would rather go in blind and unspoiled, then it’s best for you to not watch the video, or read any further of this post.

It’s interesting, and based just on what we are seeing in this video, the story seems to be a bit serious this time around- but it remains to be seen if Infinity Ward can avoid the kind of over the top tone that previous campaigns in the series have been known to descend to.

Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare will launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC this November.
