In some extremely WTF news about this year’s Call of Duty game, it seems as though UFC World Champion Conor McGregor will be featuring in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. We actually don’t know what capacity he will be featured in the game in, and his tweet doesn’t necessarily make that clear, though it seems as though he is involved in motion capture work, suggesting that he will be in the game’s campaign.

Infinite Warfare will also have a new gesture system, that lets player make gestures in the middle of a battle, instead of only at the end of one. In an interview with charlieINTEL, Infinity Ward’s Multiplayer Project Director Jordan Hirsh explained how the new system works, and what to expect from it. “We have gestures in-game now. Where you can essentially press the d-pad and do an off-hand gesture. The gestures are in-game…so basically you can run around and flip someone off or do the rock-on thing, preferably before you kill someone so they can see it in the kill cam,” he said.

Finally, Hirsh also confirmed to charlieINTEL that the game will not have any Theater Mode whatsoever. This is indeed a bit disappointing- but on the whole, I suppose they are prioritizing getting what is in the game to run properly, rather than throwing in more features for now. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch in November on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
