Although the initial reception for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was overwhelmingly negative, the rhetoric around the game seems to have turned a corner and gotten a bit more positive ever since the game’s E3 showing. That’s good, because it does seem as though developers Infinity Ward are trying to make the best game they can.

GamingBolt had an opportunity to sit down with Brian Horton, Studio Art Director at Infinity Ward, and he revealed that the upcoming game will have the biggest arsenal of weapons that the series has ever had. “There’s going to be a huge arsenal of weapons,” Horton said. “In fact this is going to be the largest suite of weapons we’ve ever had in a Call of Duty game. In addition to the weapons you also have a lot of gear. You’re going to see things like our anti-grav grenade. You’ll have robot hacking. You’ll have seeker grenades. There’s a lot of gear you’ll be able to use throughout the campaign that will progress and allow you to take out your enemies in creative and fun way.”

So it sounds like players will have more options than ever before in Infinite Warfare. The game is set to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in November this year. Thoughts? Let us know in the comments section below.
