The Call of Duty franchise is most likely on the verge of seeing its 2020 entry, most likely a return to the Black Ops subseries, but the current game is still going strong. In no small part due to the Warzone free-to-play mode that came alongside Modern Warfare. The battle royale game is already huge, but it looks like it could be getting even bigger.
The game is already one of the biggest battle royale games, allowing you to have 150 player squads, going beyond the standard 100 of most titles. We heard earlier in the year that the plan is to expand even further to 200 player squads. Well, it seems a message pop up for the game may have spilled the beans on the modes coming soon. As you can see from DissolveGaming’s Twitter feed below, a message came up for newcomers, but instead of existing modes it shows BR 200 and Plunder 200 as something to expect, neither of which have been officially announced.
There hasn’t been anything said about the 200 modes since announcing they were coming in March. But sounds like that could be changing soon, so keep your eye out. Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
