MOVEMENT STYLE HAS CHANGED
Rather than running across walls, using jetpakcks and bots, and sliding on the ground as has been the case in the last few games of this franchise, Call of Duty: WWII will feature a more “boots-to-the-ground” approach, as developers Sledgehammer Games describe it themselves. As you may have guessed, this means that the way players move around will be quite different in WWII. For one thing, infinite sprinting is a thing of the past now, and there will be no more double jumping or wall running either. Additionally, WWII is also replacing the mechanic that allows players to slide into cover- instead, players will now be able to leap forward and throw themselves the ground. We expect this mechanic to change the way we play the game quite a lot, especially in the multiplayer component.
