Ahead of the upcoming The Resistance DLC pack, there will be a community event starting soon. Sledgehammer has announced ‘The Resistance Community Event’ and it runs from January 23 until February 27, 2018. This event will bring with it lots of new content including two new game modes, a new division, new weapons, and more.

The new Division will be called the Resistance. The strength of this division lies in close quarters warfare, making use of a pistol tactical knife, a map-scrambler, and more. The first of the new game modes is called ‘Demolition’. It’s similar to the typical Search and Destroy mode where players will try to blow up some bomb sites while simultaneously disarming opponents’ bombs.

The second of the new modes is called ‘Prop Hunt’ in which players of one team will hide from the other by disguising themselves as different objects in the environment. It’ll certainly provide a nice change of pace from all of the intense action players see in the other modes. Finally, new weapons and gear are also available as part of this event and these include the Volkssturmgewehr assault rifle, the Orso SMG, and the Combat Knife.

Call of Duty: WWII is now available on Xbox One, PC and PS4.
