Hidden easter eggs in the zombies mode.

Sledgehammer have been speaking a great deal about the zombies mode in the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII, and now they’ve given some more details on it. It appears that there are going to be a ton of secrets and easter eggs in the game’s zombies mode this year, and that some of them are so “enigmatic and mysterious” that a lot of their testers still haven’t found those easter eggs yet.

“Some of them are so incredibly enigmatic and mysterious to find that we’ve got testers that still haven’t uncovered some of the stuff we’ve got hidden in there. We’ve got some bets on how long it’s gonna take the rest of the community to figure these out,” said creative director Cameron Dayton recently said in an interview with Game Informer.

The other major upcoming first person shooter of the year, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, has also received new footage, with EA posting an official video showcasing Starfighter Assault gameplay. The trailer looks pretty good, with in-engine footage of space battles featuring everything from X-wings and Star Destroyers to the Millennium Falcon. The trailer also features characters such as Yoda and Darth Maul. It looks pretty cool, so we’ve embedded it below for your viewing pleasure.

Call of Duty: WWII launches on 3 November, while Star Wars: Battlfront 2 is set for release just two weeks after that. Both games will be coming out for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates on the games.
