Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker File Size on Nintendo Switch is Only 1.4GB

That's... not a lot.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

On one hand, we have games that end up taking 100GB worth of hard drive space on your console. On the other hand, we have Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. The upcoming Switch and 3DS port of the charming Wii U puzzle game is due out next month, and according to the eShop listing for the game, will weigh in at only 1.4GB- which is stupidly ridiculous, because the Wii U version was 1.9GB, and this has more content than the Wii U version.

Of course, I’m not complaining- compared to other systems, storage space is more at a premium on the Switch, so it’s good when games don’t end up taking up too much of what we do have. Do bear in mind this is storage space only for the Switch version- the 3DS version will probably be even smaller in terms of file size.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is out on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS on July 13.
