Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Trailer Reveals Toadette

Take control of two explorers in the upcoming exploration title.

Nintendo has been on fire with the Wii U releases lately, with Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U due next month awards (already released on the 3DS) and Bayonetta 2 coming out in October. Another interesting release to look forward to it Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, based on the mini-game from Super Mario 3D World, which stars the titular Captain Toad. He won’t be alone though as a recent trailer revealed that Toadette would be joining him for the ride.

Captain Toad is a rather unique action adventure title that emphasizes exploration and puzzle solving over platforming. You’ll be exploring the Mario universe and picking up gold stars while taking down enemies. It looks simple but has that undeniable appeal to it that’s hard to resist.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is out on December 5th in North America but will only be releasing on January 9th 2015 in Europe. Stay tuned for more information.
