Carmageddon: Reincarnation fully funded

Carmageddon fans have a reason to be happy, as they will be finally getting a sequel to the decade old game. Carmageddon: Reincarnation has been fully funded with 10,773 backers generating $419,218.

The initial goal was $400,000 only, which has been shattered with 9 days to go. It remains to be seen how much the Kickstarter project manages to accumulate, but the developers of the sequel, Stainless, are pretty happy with the result.

“We MADE IT! Thanks to ALL OF YOU for the support and backing so far! As you’ll see, I don’t have the power of speech or typing completely down at the moment (some would say, most of the time…) as I’m STUNNED at the speed it’s happened this weekend!,” read the page.
