Atari dust off the cobwebs on piece of gaming history and hand its legendary status to WayForward, developers of ‘A Boy and his Blob’, for Centipede: Infestation; a top-down shooter with tower defense mechanics. According to the game’s blurb you “assume the role of an orphaned teenager hero named Max as he trudges through the wasteland, fighting off giant bugs. During Max’s travels he encounters a young teen named Maisy who possesses a collection of seeds that hold the secret to bringing plant life back to the wasteland.” The game should feature 40 stages in seven environments, two-player co-op play and, for 3DS owners, StreetPass functionality.
