It was a long time coming, but we finally have a playable Assassin in a mainline Assassin’s Creed game. Evie Fyre will have the honor of being the first playable woman Assassin when Assassin’s Creed Syndicate launches this year, and judging by this video below which showcases her abilities, it almost seems like Ubisoft is trying to make up for the last six years’ worth of exclusion of female assassins in one go- she looks seriously overpowered in Syndicate.
Her camoflage as well as her ability for better ranged combat (thanks to higher capacity for pocket knives and the like) seems to almost break the balance for the game to the extent that I need to ask myself the question- if there is a choice to play as either Evie or Jacob, why would I not play as Evie?
