Check Out Ten Minutes of XCOM 2 Gameplay Footage Inside

Enemy unleashed.

XCOM 2, the PC exclusive sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown that was announced right in the lead up to PC, looks pretty damn good. The developers talked about their decision to keep it PC exclusive, speaking about how not having to worry about the limitations of consoles as a platform unfettered their ability to conceive of proper game design, and go all in. After seeing the ten minutes of gameplay footage that are included in this trailer that originally debuted at E3 last week, I think you will begin to see where they are coming from.

On the whole, it looks sweet, and while there are some parts of it all that look like they may be a bit rough around the edges, the game is still under active development, meaning that by the time it officially releases, the final product will probably be significantly better.
