Check Out The Hohokum Launch Trailer

Unfortunately, no one can be told what Hohokum is. They have to see if for themselves.

Hohokum is a gorgeous, extremely artistic looking… okay, well, I’ll be honest, I’ve been following this game for months now, and I’m pumped about its upcoming launch (August 12 on PlayStation Network, and it’s Cross Buy for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita), but I’m still not quite sure what it is. It looks surreal and wacky and weird, and weirdly calming and soothing and relaxing, but if you asked me to label it as any genre… well, I’m not sure where I’d put it.

Not that any of that matters, really, and if you’re so intent on pigeon holing it, watch the new launch trailer for yourself, and figure out what exactly it is. While you’re at it, can you also please tell me? Like, leave a comment here or something.

As the developer himself says, though- “perhaps you are still thinking ‘what the devil is going on in this videogame?’ That’s okay. It is a curious and surprising game. The best way to find out what Hohokum is about is to play it for yourself. With any luck you will be charmed and delighted.”
