It's a war out there, everyday.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, the upcoming fighting game developed by Arc Systems that serves as a sequel to Persona 4 Arena, which in turn was the sequel to what might be the greatest game ever made, Persona 4. The Persona 4 Arena games function as continuations of the stories of both Persona 3 and Persona 4, and they feature characters from both games duking it out. Think of it as a Super Smash Bros. game for Persona fans. Except it’s a highly exacting, technical fighter.

Anyway, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year, and Atlus is showing the game off at E3. The new trailer shows us the characters squaring it off, it shows us the fighting, it shows us some dialog and story, and it shows us some more of that sweet music.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax hits the PS3 and Xbox 360 in Fall of this year. Stay tuned for more.
