Persona 4 Arena was a very unlikely project, and an even more unlikely success- it took the incredible characters of Persona 4 (and Persona 3) and managed to tie the stories together into something that somehow became a pretty compelling sequel to Persona 3 and Persona 4, and even became a highly accomplished, technically adept fighter that’s even a part of the MLG circuit.

Its sequel is out later this year, and its supposed to finally conclude the (by now pretty milked) stories of Persona 3 and Persona 4, and Atlus is going all out with it, bringing in all the characters, fan favorites, and hinting at some pretty exciting story developments. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax should certainly help tide fans over until the release of Persona 5 next year.
