Cities: Skylines’ Newest Expansion Is All About Mass Transit

May you fare better at this than just about every real life city.

Very few cities in the world actually do public transportation right- Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, New York, Toronto, New Delhi, London, and maybe Singapore, but that’s it. If you’re not living in these cities, getting from one place to another without a car can be a royal pain in the hindside (trust me, I would know).

However, developer Colossal Order wants to give you the chance to make amends, at least in the virtual world- they’ve announced the newest expansion for their perennially popular cities simulation Cities: Skylines, and it’ll be Mass Transit. In case the name didn’t give it away, it will be all about mass transit options, adding a whole host of mass transit infrastructure options (as well as options to monetize them).

The expansion will be made available later this year for the PC, Mac, and Linux versions of the game. As of right now, there’s no word on whether or not it will ever be coming to Xbox One, which gets its own version of the game in March.
