The latest expansion for last year’s excellent city building sim, Cities: Skylines, will be launching on February 18. The previously announced Cities Skylines: Snowfall is due out on February 18, releasing simultaneously for all computers running Windows, Mac, and Linux. it will cost $12.99.

Like the previous expansion, Snowfall is far more than a simple color swap, or even more than just the inclusion of weather- entirely new systems, which derive from the in game weather, such keeping roads clear, arranging for heating for buildings (and the auxiliary systems necessary, like power), and new all-weather public transport, are all introduced to the game to add even more layers to the simulation than it had before.

In addition to all this, new winter themed landmarks and buildings will also be made available to players as part of Snowfall. This, plus multiple free updates, are all coming to Cities: Skylines later this month, so fans of the hit city sim should be well served.
