Leading UK based publisher of racing games Codemasters has announced a a global distribution and co-publishing agreement with Koch Media, which will see Koch Media take on exclusive distribution of Codemasters 2016 titles in EMEA and exclusively co-publish in the Americas.

“We are very excited to re-start a wide-reaching business partnership with Codemasters. Codemasters will complement our roster of AAA games from Deep Silver, Square, Sega and many other strategic partners. As part of the deal, our physical and digital distribution power combined will bolster some of the finest racing games ever produced.” said Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media.

“With a great line up of new titles combined with Koch Media’s large distribution network and territory knowledge behind us, we are confident of a very successful 2016”said Frank Sagnier, CEO of Codemasters.

The specifics of how this will affect Codemasters games in development, such as DiRT Rally, are unknown for now, though it is reasonable to suppose that they will be covered under this deal as well.
