Crash N.Sane Trilogy Got ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ Feedback From Naughty Dog

Naughty Dog Seal of Approval.

PS1 nostalgia is the flavor of the moment, as the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy, that an entire generation of players grew up loving, returns next month in a lovingly remastered collection. And it is lovingly and reverently remastered- so much so, that even Naughty Dog, the original developers of the games, were impressed by the work that Vicarious Visions had done on it.

“Personally, our dev team didn’t check in with them or anything. But through Sony, Naughty Dog has seen and played the games at a few different stages. And we’ve had feedback from them, and overwhelming it’s been positive. They’re very, very impressed, and quite touched, that we’re doing right by their original games,” said Producer Kara Massie in an interview with Metro GameCentral.

So there you have it- this has Naughty Dog’s seal of approval. You can rest assured that this has been treated with the respect it deserves. It launches on the PS4 next month.
