Crysis 3 Pirated 70,000 Times, PC’s Low Performance Culprit Found

Crysis 3 is currently melting many PCs and eyes through its gorgeous beauty and a common problem a lot of people are reporting is that the performance takes a hit on PC.

The game is demanding on the PC and it looks like a modder may have found the reason for the low performance.

“Everyone has reported on the forums. Although I also know that next levels do not have this problem (do not know if they have others) I have preferred to find out what happens in the first level,” Maldo wrote.

He has described this issue well via screenshots on his blog, so go check it out. (via DSOgaming)

The performance hit is due to rope physics and he has mentioned that the screenshots posted by him prove that he has found out the reason.

In other news the game has also been pirated 70,000 times, so good job PC gamers. The ratio between torrents and direct downloads are 45,000 and 25,000 respectively. Really good job.

Not.

Buy the game if you can.
