Crytek does not care about Crysis 2 cheaters/hackers

Posted By | On 29th, Mar. 2011

Crytek has been having a rough few days. After recent rumours that NVidia paid Crytek money to delay the support for DirectX 11, there’s this new news on the net.

There was recently a thread regarding the anti-cheat/hack issues on the official Crytek forums, but Crytek were quick to shut the thread down. What is startling is that they did not lock a thread that directed people on how to hack/cheat the game. The thread was about the .pak extractor, which allows you to decrypt and extract the .pak files, and thus modify files and cheat, and it’s still open.

Seemingly, Crytek doesn’t care if their game is hacked or cheated.

Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.
